XP の再インストール

PCが起動できなくなってしまい、色々と試したのですが改善する事が出来ませんでした。
改善方法お教えいただきたく思います。
最初に起動できなくなった時には、DELLのロゴ後に
セーフモード
セーフモード＋α
通常起動
上記のような選択が現れ、すべて試しましたが、

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,restart your computer.If this screen appears again,follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation,ask your hardware manufacturer fon any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue,disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software.
Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable componets,restart your computer,press F8 to select Advanced startup options,and then select safe mode.

全てにおいてこのような青バックの英文が出て止まってしまいました。
この後にマニュアルに載っていたSymantecによるDELL PCの復元を試しましたが、
システムリカバリーツールでサポートされていない変更がマスターブートレコードで検出されました。
この時点でこのツールを実行することはできません。
DELLテクニカルサポートまでお問い合わせください。
と出て、以後ループしました。
オンラインサポートにある、
Dimensionシリーズ「再インストール用CD」Windows XP Home Edition SP2 再インストールガイド (フォーマット再インストール)
も試してみましたが、
Windows XP CD-ROMをCD-ROMドライブに挿入してから、IDE CD-ROM Deviceに合わせて[Enter]キーを押します。
という所までは行きますが、その後press any key to boot from CDというのが出ずに再起動してしまいます。
ここまで試しました。
もし何か他の方法がございましたらお教えください。
